Vinegar: Century Old Medicine That Works

Vinegar is a weak (acetic) acid and has been used as a medicine and antiseptic for centuries. It is a natural germ killer. It is helpful in aiding digestion and bowel function, lowering cholesterol, improving memory, preventing ulcers, and relieving pain and slowing the progression of arthritis.

Vinegar is made when sweet cider is fermented with yeast into an alcoholic beverage known as hard cider. The process is called alcoholic fermentation. It is then fermented again using a bacterial culture called acetobacter which converts the alcohol into acid. The result is "genuine" vinegar.

The product in most grocery stores and sold as vinegar is actually a product made from coal tar! It looks clean, white and tastes like vinegar. It's cheaper than distilled vinegar or malt vinegar. This vinegar have no health value. It doesn't contain the nutrients of organic raw apple cider Vinegar with the mother.

A Few Vinegar Uses:



triangleredAcne - Pat a few drops of Vinegar on your face after cleansing morning and night.

triangleredBee Stings - Use undiluted vinegar directly on the injury site to alleviate pain.

triangleredDiabetics - Two (2) tablespoons of vinegar before a meal will dramatically reduce the spike in blood concentrations of insulin and glucose that come after a meal.

triangleredJoint Pain - Two (2) tablespoons of vinegar three (3) times daily.

triangleredPlantar Warts - Soak the wart for a few minutes with undiluted vinegar once or twice daily.

triangleredSunburn - Apply white Vinegar to affected area for pain relief.

triangleredWeight Loss - Two (2) tablespoons vinegar in a glass of water one hour before each meal. One (1) or two (2) teaspoons of raw honey may be added to improve taste. The weight will be lost gradually.



Apple cider vinegar is also helpful for dogs, cats, and horses. It helps them with arthritic conditions, controls fleas and barn flies, and gives a beautiful shine to their coats.

Keep vinegar on hand and take it on vacation in a small spray or squirt bottle. Make it a part of your outting first aid kit.

Drink a tablespoon or two in a glass of water every day.
